Bergstrom expands presence in Canada with Pro Force Marketing partnership
Agreement signals more concerted effort to expand market share in Canada
Rockford, Illinois (February 23, 2009) Bergstrom, Inc., a global leader in the design and supply
of climate systems to the commercial vehicle industry, has selected Pro Force Marketing as its
exclusive, authorized representative in the Canadian market.
The partnership signals a more concerted effort on behalf of Bergstrom to grow market share in
Canada.
“Pro Force Marketing deals exclusively with the truck, trailer and heavy duty industry in Canada
and they have a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in this field,” said Bill
Gordon, national director of aftermarket and director of global marketing for Bergstrom. “The
agreement will allow us to dramatically expand our reach in Canada and become much more
responsive to our current customer base. We hope to double our market share within a year.”
ProForce’s team of seven sales and support staff will be responsible for marketing, promoting
and selling Bergstrom’s Kysor and NITE product lines.
Bergstrom’s Kysor division (www.kysorhvac.com) provides heating and air conditioning parts
and systems for light, medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
The Bergstrom NITE Plus system (www.nitesystem.com) is a lightweight, fully functional air-conditioning system designed to work without idling the truck's main engine. Combined with an
optional compact air-heating system, the system offers drivers year-round comfort.
